Within walking distance is the recently opened Truffe d’Or in St Mayme, and within about 5 – 10 minutes drive are two fermes auberges. 

Logis de FranceIn Vergt there are two reasonably priced restaurants and several bar-cafés; 5 km to the west on the main Perigueux-Bergerac road is a Logis de France family restaurant.

More serious restaurants can be found in Bordeaux, St Emilion, Perigueux and Bergerac - more details will be in the house book. Most places offer regional menus throughout the year.
Boat at Bay of Arcachon

If you take a day out at the seaside, do visit the Bay of Arcachon where you can eat seafood at one of the many small eateries round the bay.
